Drama Tutor
Little Tanks provides a fully experienced drama tutor who has a valid DBS certificate and has completed the Little Tanks vetting and referencing procedure. The tutor will be at the venue 15 minutes before the session begins to ensure that they are fully prepared for the session and to greet the children straight from school, so parents are not needed to collect their children until the end of the drama club.
The tutor will also be fully in charge of running the sessions accordingly to suit the group and ensure that all children are engaged, having fun and building confidence. The tutor will not deal with any administration issues so please contact me directly if you have any problems you need help with.
Parent Information
Little Tanks provides easy accessible application forms that can be printed from the website, posted to you on request or obtained from the school office. To ensure a child’s place all forms with the fee need to be sent directly to Debi Rush at debi@littletanks.co.uk
Confirmation e-mails will be sent out approximately one week prior to the course start date confirming your child’s space. It will also remind you when and where the course takes place and what time and date the end of term show will be on.
After half term parents will be e-mailed a newsletter outlining the performance requirements and any specific clothes that your child may need. This will also contain an application form for the next term as current members have first chance to secure a space as a loyalty scheme.
Original Scripts
The children will be working towards a performance each term and will be provided with an original script or idea to work from. If your child is given a script they will need to bring it every week to the session and may need to practise a little at home, but this is not always essential. As we encourage the children to devise ideas and lines themselves every show is different and unique even if it’s a story you already know.
Little Tanks Reward
Two original Little Tanks prizes per club per term are awarded to those children who have gained the most confidence and had the most fun during each term as a souvenir. These are given during a presentation after the performance.
Props, Costume and Music
All three are supplied as a token to aid and assist the running of each performance and make it look fun and bright and sound cheery and uplifting as well as making it extra special for the children.
